What is Latisse®?
Latisse® is a prescription cosmetic treatment FDA approved to lengthen and darken eyelashes. The Best Candidates for Latisse®
You may be a candidate for Latisse® if your eyelashes are short, sparse and unnoticeable. This is ideal if you constantly try to lengthen your eyelashes with mascara, false lashes or other eyelash treatments with no success. With Latisse®, people notice your face and eyes.
Planning for Your Latisse® Treatments
Prior to receiving your Latisse® prescription, we recommend you schedule a consultation with Dr. Diaz. It is essential that he evaluate your overall health and medical history to ensure there are no underlying conditions that may have a negative reaction to Latisse®. Once he determines that Latisse® is an option for you to grow longer lashes, he shows you how to apply the treatment on your lashes and prescribes Latisse® to you.
Latisse® Treatments
Once you are prescribed Latisse®, the treatments are done at home. It is important to follow the instructions when applying Latisse®, so you get the maximum benefits from it. You should apply Latisse® to a freshly washed face with no eye makeup just before bedtime.

With the application brush included in the kit, you carefully place one drop of Latisse® and apply it along the eyelid at the lash line in a similar fashion to applying liquid eyeliner. If you have excess ointment on the lid, you may dab it with Q-Tip to avoid getting it in your eyes.

Latisse® is only for the top lashes and should never be applied to your bottom lashes. Your Latisse® regimen must be continued daily as the lashes return to their normal sparser state when the treatments are discontinued.

How Much Does Latisse® Cost?

The cost of Latisse® is different and based on the treatments you may have in conjunction with this eye treatment. During your consultation, Dr. Diaz can discuss the cost with you as well as our payment options including financing through CareCredit®.

Your New Look
The results with Latisse® are astounding as your lashes get longer and darker with continued use. You start noticing the results within a few weeks and see the full effects within about 12 weeks. You can maintain your lashes with continued use. If you stop using Latisse, your lashes return to their normal state within a short amount of time.
